LONDON JEWLERY DESIGNERS

Hello gorgeous!
Let's talk about jewelry. Well, let me start again, let's talk about jewelry designers! I would like to dedicate this post to all the young designers, brilliant and talented, whom are fighting and trying to find their place in this overcrowded industry that is fashion ( after all we are all in the same boat, isn't it?). Today's post is meant to inspire and delight us. I've been doing some research and I collected images of some creations of jewelry designers based in London. You won't find diamonds or lots of gold (I'm not a fan of either of them) but the creativity, passion and artistic sense are guaranteed! I think some of this pieces are amazing and I would totally use them in any of my fashion editorials.
Which is you favourite?
Kisses!

"Le Bondage" CROP TOP

Hello guys!
This is an old post that I've been working on for a couple of months. Honestly I enjoyed it. I've been collecting images related with this inspirational post to bring something as attractive, interesting and...sensual as the garment I'm talking about. By now, we all got use to crop tops, this short t-shirts, this wink to the 90's that flooded our catwalk and streets. But some of them were meant to bring controversy. I don't know why but usually these are the kind of things I enjoy the most. Once more, fashion nourished from one of our society taboos: Sex, or what's more forbidden fetishism. It's just beautiful how easily fashion can twist the rules! This last season bondage inspiration crop tops have been a valued acquisition for many of us, am I right? ;) I wore one in my post Oriental Velvet. But the side that I loved the most about this trend coming back are all the amazing fashion editorials and pictures that appeared with it. The velt-vest, the corsets, all the random creations inspirited in fantasies… Honestly, It's just beautiful to enjoy all this elaborated complements, made by not so famous artists fellows designers who may not always fit with the commercial standards.

And more, do you remember the song?

"Everybody's looking for something.
Some of them want to use you
Some of them want to get used by you
Some of them want to abuse you
Some of them want to be abused…"

I hope you'll enjoy the pics,
Good night!

PRADA s/s 2014

Hi guys!

I've been whiling to do this post since I saw, few days ago, the video of Prada's spring/summer 2014 women's advertising campaign.
We saw their new collection on latest Milan fashion week in a show that left us all breathless and became one of the strongest performance in this mfw. Let me make my point, I'm an always-black person, I just love it and for me to fall in love with a colorful garments it's never easy. This collection took over me: It was REBEL. There was an artistic element influencing everything, starting with the murals that were the background of the show: all kind of visions of womanhood, bringing the graffiti street art to the scenario and the clothes as well. The color block of the collection couldn't be more provocative and smart. This collection and it's woman were calling feminism and it couldn't hit me louder.

The video is another brilliant creation: A black background, great choice of sound, beautiful models with different characteristics, and the clothes... I just love it.  I think is smart and funny the way they played foolish the models in some of the scenes, this is just my opinion but I think is something the public enjoys.

This campaign reach us, and makes us want more. I played the video five times trying to watch the all the girls, their reactions, their acting, their performance... And after viewing it so many times I conclude the result it's brilliant, fresh and inspiring.

Clara

SUNGLASSES

 Good morning babes!
It's been a long time since I made any inspirational post... So here you are: New week, new inspirations! As many of you will probably do too, I spend lots of time picking images on internet, it's something that I enjoy doing and I'm constantly stocking them to be used as inspiration, idea, concept... for a future fashion editorial. Everything can help and everything counts! Lately, maybe because I was looking for sunglasses for myself, I found many interesting images related with sunglasses. I wanted to share them with you, and I know what you might be thinking "Clara, but it's almost December!" I know... But, So what!? Sunglasses are a brilliant complement that makes richer every outfit and there's no need to remark that we not use them only in summer (; As I was saying, I'm decided to get a new ones for myself and I'm almost decided to go for a round shaped ones in the style of the first picture after the text, what do you think about it? Of course it's all related to our face shape, but in my case it is quite long, so round glasses help me to bring balance.

Anyway, here you have the pictures, I'm sure you will fall in love many of the glasses as I did, enjoy and have a lovely day!

Kisses from London!

"GENTLEMEN LADY"

 Hi sunshines!
Here you have a new inspirational post about a trend that's coming stepping hard! I'm talking about the suit garments, the adaptation of male clothes for our wardrobes. I LOVE IT! Noble materials like wool and cottons, serious colors combined with pale ones and check prints above it. I'm a big fan of this trend, actually I'm a big fan of garments inspired on male clothes, because even they are not tight, or obviously sexy for me there's nothing more attractive than confidence and that's something we should wear everyday ;)

Have a nice tuesday!!

FREE-AK ME baby!

Hey ya!
Today's inspirational post is full of fun! That's it, because elegance doesn't mean high heels and haute couture. I'm a big big fan of using fashion as expression. Clothes speak for you, they can show your personality, which mood you are in, what are you up to ... And nothing can speak louder than t-shirt! I am a BIG fan of T-shirt, I wouldn't be exaggerating if I say that probably I have one hundred of T-shirts collected all over the years. And my favorite T-shirts are the "freaks" ones! They are casual, smart and fun, and for me those attributes make me feel comfortable with an outfit, plus they can speak for me about my interests and concerns. In resum, T-shirts make me feel free! A year ago I created a fashion editorial about this subject, I'll show you some of the pictures soon, it was published on C-heads Magazine and I loved the result! There's not much more to say so, here you have some images and samples, KEEP ROCKING!!

"The BACK"

Hello!
The other day blogging around I found this lovely post "The real Jessica Rabbit" on Messy Nessy chic. This way I met Miss Vikki Dougan, the girl who seems inspirited the cartoon. She was a 50's "It" girl from Hollywood known with the nickname “The Back” for so often wearing her scandalously provocative backless dresses.
That article made me smile, a part of the lovely pictures and the stunning girl (I love 50's!) it's always amusing who ciclic fashion is. This last season backless garments where a trend, and sixty years ago too! hehe. Anyway, it's a style that I love, and it seems is not leaving us yet...
So, I hope you like the pics folks, from now and then, here you have some backless garments inspiration!
Cheers!

BACKPACK FEVER!

Hi guys! This is an inspiration trend post. It seems this is my lucky year since the garments, the prints, the styles and the complements I adore are must have. Today I'm talking about the backpack.

It started last year, we saw it on Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, DKNY catwalks and it just went further. On the last 080 Barcelona fashion week, the designer Manuel Bolaño was suggesting an oversized version of this same backpack that made the spectators go crazy. And now you can find them on every store, from Primark to any designer brand.  We could see them on London Fashion Week, the streets of London are full of them... It's official, we've got the packback fever!!

For me this is such a blessing. Backpack have been my favorite kind of bags since always. You can see on the "looks" posts that I made I'm almost always carrying one. They are the most comfortable thing to wear and since they are hanging from your back it's difficult to lose them. You can put EVERYTHING on it! They are perfect for work when I have an editorial shooting: I can carry anything and move as free as I need. Even if you are going out, you can dance, jump, get messy...  and no strap will be falling from your shoulder again and again. So, know that they are trendy I'm seeing them in the mosts beautiful designs! This season I'll add a couple more to my collection for sure (; Hope you enjoy the post, and go for one as well, you won't regret it!

 Kisses from London!

RINGS

Hello again!

Today I'm bringing you an inspirational post about RINGS.
I thought it could  give you a closer impression of "how I am" (or at least which things I like!).
I made a recompilation about this complement, ring, for me one of the most important when it comes to jewelry.

Earrings and necklaces are almost touching our faces, that's why some people give them more credit, but what about our hands best friends? We're using our hands all day: to remove that annoying hair on our face, to lay our cheek on it, to express ourselves with our body language... So, let's dress them! A ring is the perfect complement to show your personality, to add the "freaky" touch. It can also represent the part that nobody can take away from your spirit... Maybe it seems exaggerated but in my opinion it's all about the details, and a ring can be the richest one!

I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!

BIKER JACKETS

Good morning!
As the once whom live here might have already noticed the weather in London it's starting to get colder. It's a pity, I know, we all enjoyed those sunny days... But always look at the bright side of life! (as Monty Pythons would sing) Autumn is here so we can get our wardrobes ready for the new season! Speaking about that I would like to call your attention to what will become one of the most important garments of this season: the biker jacket.

We saw this jackets on the catwalks of some of the most important designers. Philip Lim (his inspiration this season were bikers, there was a lot of leather on his collection and moto jackets, vest, sweatshirts...), Bluemarine (more leather, the colors were baby-pink and light blue but the shape of the jackets were calling "rock and roll"!), Givenchy (in black leather and different floral prints, amazing!), Etro, Diesel Black Gold, Hermés, Yves Saint Laurent... Even Kenzo came out with an abolutley delightful jackets that remand me the ones we are talking about.

As always those looks will move to retail and I'M SO PLEASED. I love biker jackets!! For true. They have so many personality, they can bring the rebel side to any outfit, breaking monotony, telling something more about yourself and in my opinion they match with almost everything! Since I already have three of them in black maybe this year I'll dare to buy one like the one Daria Werbowy was wearing on the cover of Vogue Septembers issue, stunning! Of course I mean something similar and not the Balenciaga's one that cost 1.625 pounds... If I was a rich girl! (;

I let you with some inspirations for all kind of tastes, kisses!

COLORED HAIR

Hello everyone! Today it's raining non-stop here in London. It isn't the best choice doing something outdoors... So I thought it would be nice bringing some color with that post. Nowadays it's really normal seeing people walking around the streets of London with their hair painted in one or many different colors. A few years ago, painting you hair green or blue meant something, it was different, it was rebel.

Nearly 2 years ago, I met with the first person who was wearing this hair style in Barcelona and she was my alternative model-friend Anneke Necrophyle.
Of course, it is still a way of expressing yourself but let's face it: it's also a trend. People from all edges and styles are wearing it in many different ways: full color, full color with different intensities, mixture of colors, only few wicks... Some of them are using wigs, some of them extensions.

How did it become so normal? Was it Rihanna with her intense red or Lady Gaga with her massive color hair-style display? For me, it was when I saw the campaign of United Colors of Benetton. The model Charlotte Free (cover picture) and her stunning pink made me thought "That's the BANG!". Today many trendy and IT girls are coloring themselves and some results are amazing!!

Which are your opinions about it? Would you dare to paint your hair like this? Maybe wearing it extensions?

I leave you with some of the examples that I personally like a lot. Have a lovely day! (:
